Middle East steel output growth levels off in May, Iran sole bright spot
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly report inched up 0.6% on-year in May to 2.51 million tonnes, driven by largest regional producer Iran, Kallanish learns from worldsteel.
