ArcelorMittal, Marcegaglia and Arvedi mull Ilva tie-up ?
Speculation is growing in Italy that ArcelorMittal, Marcegaglia and possibly Arvedi could jointly commit to run the troubled Ilva steelworks in Taranto, Italy.
Antonio Marcegaglia, ceo of Marcegaglia reportedly told Reuters that a steelmaker such as ArcelorMittal could make a good acquisition partner because of the group’s industry experience and financial soundness.
