MMK increases domestic shipments in 2014 by 500,000t
Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) expects to sell over 11.6 million tonnes of finished steel products in 2014, of which some 8.3mt has been sold at home. This represents a year-on-year increase of 900,000t in total sales. Included in this over all figure, it has shipped roughly 500,000t more to Russian buyers, according to Russian journal, Trud, in a report published on MMK’s website.
