MENA steel demand growth of 6.6% in 2015 hinges on political stabilisation: Ezz
Economic growth in the Middle East and North Africa should see regional steel consumption increase 6.6% year-on-year in 2015 to 72.08 million tonnes. This will, however, largely depend on political stability in Egypt and Iraq, and the easing of sanctions on Iran, according to George Matta, Ezz Steel’s marketing director.
