Longer holidays hit German crude output
While Germany produced marginally less crude steel in August, at 3.1 million tonnes, the country’s overall output for the first eight months of 2014 remains 3% up on this time last year. For January to August 2014, Germany produced 29mt, reports industry association WV Stahl.
