LKAB and voestalpine sign Texas iron ore pellet deal
LKAB is set to supply iron ore pellets to voestalpine’s new DRI facility in Texas. The two companies signed a contract for pellet deliveries to begin in the first quarter of 2016, Kallanish learns.
The contract provides LKAB the opportunity to step into the North American market and expand the customer base for its high-tech, climate-smart pellets, the iron ore miner says.
