LKAB gets go-ahead to begin mining at Leveniemi
Sweden’s LKAB says that it has received permission to resume mining at the Leveäniemi mine in Svappavaara outside of Kiruna. In a statement monitored by Kallanish, the iron ore miner says that it has been “…planning and looking forward to this for quite some time".
