Japan's Kyoei Steel switches plans for North and South Vietnam
Japan’s Kyoei Steel is again going ahead with an expansion in southern Vietnam, near to Ho Chi Minh City, where it is installing an electric arc furnace to feed a new long products mill. The company had blamed the project’s delay last year on poor weather and the need for minor adjustments in maintenance (see Kallanish, 27 November).
