Krakatau invests to add extra hot rolling capacity by 2017
Indonesia steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel plans to build a second hot-rolled coil mill in Cilegon, the company has revealed. The new facility in the Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon will have a capacity of 1.5 million tonnes/year of hrc and will be built in consort with German equipment manufacturer SMS Siemag, Kallanish understands.
