Krakatau adds ERW capacity

Indonesia’s PT KHI Pipe, a subsidiary of state-invested steelmaker PT Krakatau Steel, has commissioned a new ERW pipe mill, bringing capacity to 233,000 tonnes/year, the company says. The new mill will target the developing oil and gas sector in the country, according to Purwono Widodo, director of PT KHI Pipe.
