Krakatau Steel books Q1 losses
Indonesia’s PT Krakatau Steel saw its net losses fall year-on-year over January-March on the back of foreign exchange gains. Operating losses more than tripled for a year earlier despite lower raw material costs, suggesting the firm may have difficulty recovering quickly from its poor 2014 performance, Kallanish notes.
