Kardemir reduces domestic bar, billet prices again on sluggish demand, weak scrap

Turkish long steelmaker Kardemir has reduced its prices of bar and billet for sales to the domestic market owing to weak demand and lower local scrap buying prices, Kallanish learns. The price of 12-22mm round bar has come down TRY 55/t ($23/t) to TRY 1,081/t, while 12-32mm rebar has declined by the same amount to TRY 1,064/t.
