JSW pulls out of race to buy Ilva, reports say
India’s JSW has withdrawn from the race for troubled Italian steelmaker Ilva. Company commissioner Piero Gnudi is expected to receive offers from two other consortiums, ArcelorMittal/Marcegaglia and Arvedi/Companhia Siderurgica Nacional, in the next two weeks, Kallanish learns from Italian national press reports.
The news follows yesterday’s meeting between Gnudi and a delegation of unions’ representatives.
