Italian pig iron and HBI imports see prices dip
Italian pig iron imports totalled 225,000 tonnes in July and August, Kallanish learns from local raw materials trading company, Alocci Rappresentanze Industriali. The arrivals at the Italian ports during the two months are expected to ensure a good availability of raw materials in local steelmakers’ inventories, the trader adds.
