Iron ore flat, steel falling as Chinese restrictions end

Seaborne iron ore prices barely moved on Friday as China’s commemorative holiday reduced activity. After China celebrated the end of the Second World War on 3 September, restrictions on steelmaking also officially came to an end on Friday, Kallanish notes.
