Iran steelmaker issues coking coal purchase tender
Iran’s second-largest steelmaker Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC) has launched a tender to purchase 10,000 tonnes of coking coal, Kallanish learns from the company.
Interested bidders must pay €50 ($59) to participate in the tender and have until 1 February to submit their offers. KSC is looking for coking coal with a minimum 86% carbon content, and maximums of 0.6% sulphur and 0.05% phosphorous content. Delivery of the coal should be during March. T…
