Iran seen requiring 250,000t/y of rail in next decade
Iran is likely to require around 250,000 tonnes/year of rail to complete railway projects over the next ten years, according to Esfahan Steel Company (Esco) director of engineering Mehdi Nasr. Esco’s 650 sections rolling mill expansion to make the company Iran’s first producer of rails is 60% completed.
