Iran mills to import new technology after sanctions removal: Mobarakeh chief
Once economic sanctions are lifted, Iranian steelmakers should be in a better position to finance purchases of modern technology to help them compete in the international market, according to Bahram Sobhani, chief of Iran’s largest steelmaker, Mobarakeh Steel. This comes after Iran’s nuclear deal earlier this month with world powers.
Iran will, however, need to curb steel imports – made easier by the eventual removal of banking restrictions…
