Ukraine's Ilyich develops HDG range for lighter steel structures
Ukraine's Ilyich Iron & Steel Works has developed heavy-duty S320GD 1.5mm thick galvanized coil, which can be used for light steel, thin-walled structures and window profiles.
It makes for more efficient constructions by reducing steel consumption, while maintaining weight-bearing capacity, says Metinvest, the parent company of Ilyich. It means steel structures cost less, adds group sales director, Dmitriy Nikolaenko.
