Ilva reaches payment agreement to end subcontractor blockade
Troubled Italian steelmaker Ilva has reached a new agreement with its subcontractor companies that will guarantee the resumption of transportation to and from its plants, sources close to the company tell Kallanish.
Ilva’s special commissioners, Piero Gnudi, Corrado Carrubba and Enrico Laghi, met transport subcontractor association Anita e Conftrasporto on 25/26 February, and reached a new contractual agreement over payments valid until 31 August 2015.…
