Icdas lowers domestic rebar prices as scrap slumps and demand stutters
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has steeply reduced its rebar prices to the domestic market, by TRY 90/tonne ($37/t) after scrap prices plummeted and with local demand remaining sluggish, Kallanish learns. This was despite the lira reaching a record low last week of over 2.5/dollar.
