Icdas follows Turkish longs price decline on weaker scrap and demand
Turkish long steelmaker Icdas has again slashed drastically its prices for domestic sales of rebar and wire rod. This has followed the freefall in scrap prices in recent weeks and already sluggish demand being slowed further by the onset of winter.
Rebar prices have plummeted TRY 120/tonne ($54/t) from Icdas’ previous price list issued at the end of October to TRY 1,330/t, TRY 1,320/t and TRY 1,310/t for 8mm, 10mm and 12-32mm diameter respectively. Wir…
