Hegang looks to earn 30% of revenue overseas by 2018
China’s largest steelmaker, Hebei Iron and Steel (Hegang), plans to earn 30% of its revenue, or $20 billion, overseas by 2018, according to its latest plans. The revenue will largely come from its acquisition of Swiss-based trader Duferco and the construction of a new steelworks in South Africa, Kallanish notes.
