Germany posts 4.7% more Q2 orders
In Germany, the steel mills’ order intake for finished products is continuing along the road to recovery, says the Düsseldorf-based steel association, WV Stahl. At 9.64 million tonnes, the mills booked 4.7% more in the second quarter of 2014, compared to Q2 2013, it adds. Year-on-year, the rate of growth in orders has risen from 3% to 5%, the association adds.
