German steel demand to continue to recover in 2015, says WV Stahl
The German steel industry is expected to continue its recovery in 2015, according to the Düsseldorf-based steelmakers’ association, Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl). German steel demand should grow by 1-2% to 39.5 million tonnes, while crude steel production should rise by roughly 1% to 43.3mt, according to Hans Jürgen Kerkhoff, WV Stahl president.
