German steel association warns against other Chinese alloyed-steel imports
Just because China has abolished tax rebates on exports of boron-containing steels, this is by no means an all-clear signal for Germany’s steel processors who buy and use Chinese material, warns the German steelmakers’ association. Chinese mills will continue to export steel in large volumes because of the country’s “immense” steelmaking overcapacity, and fabricators should remain vigilant regarding the quality of their Chinese imports…
