German scrap use dips in 2014 despite crude steel increase, reports BDSV

Total shipments of ferrous scrap in Germany slipped 1.7% last year to 27.1 million tonnes, mainly because of lower export sales, as well as reduced domestic consumption, says Germany’s ferrous scrap federation BDSV.
