German mill output Q1 uptick cause for optimism says WV Stahl
The latest data released for order activity and deliveries have supported some optimism among German mills. A moderate improvement in economic conditions is foreseen although a strong upsurge remains unlikely, says steel federation WV Stahl in a report sent to Kallanish. Orders from abroad in particular increased noticeably, whereas domestic demand fell, the federation adds.
