Fujian Fuxin adds duplex steelVOD
Eastern China’s Fujian Fuxin, part of Taiwan’s Formosa Plastics Group, has added a 150-t duplex VOD unit to the stainless steel meltshop it commissioned last year, according to supplier SMS Mevac. Formosa has been investing heavily in the plant and is considering further expansion in rolling capacity, Kallanish notes.
