Fives supplies Zhanjiang CRC and HDG furnaces
Eastern China’s Baosteel has ordered two annealing furnaces for its Zhanjiang steelworks project from Fives, the French engineering firm says. Both Zhanjiang and Wuhan Iron and Steel’s (Wugang) rival project nearby are due to start their first real capacity this year, making the rivalry one of the key areas to watch in the Chinese steel industry in 2015, Kallanish observes.
