Ferrexpo pellet production up 1.6% in Q2
Ukraine’s Ferrexpo achieved record quarterly production of iron ore pellets in the second quarter of 2015, Kallanish learns from the company. Pellet output was at 2.93 million tonnes, up 1.6% year-on year. The share in output of premium 65% Fe pellets reached 89%.
In the first half of 2015, pellet production thus grew 8.3% to 5.81mt. There was a 93% increase in production of 65% Fe pellets in H1 to 5.1mt.
