New owners set to acquire ex-Lucchini wire rod mill
Italy’s Feralpi and Swiss-headquartered Duferco have received the go-ahead from the Italian Ministry of Development (MISE) to sign a preliminary acquisition agreement for the Caleotto wire rod mill, industry sources tell Kallanish. The facility, located in Lecco near Brescia, was formerly owned by the Lucchini Group.
