Fabio Riva sentenced to six years and six months for alleged fraud
Fabio Riva, a former top executive with Italy’s Riva Group has been sentenced to six and a half years in prison for alleged conspiracy and fraud against the Italian state. The alleged scam saw the Ilva steelworks receive roughly €100 million from the government for exports, to which it has since been deemed to be unentitled, according to local press reports.
