Ezz Dekheila resumes DRI production following gas supply restoration
Alexandria-based Ezz Dekheila Steel (EZDK) is since 1 October gradually having natural gas supply restored to its direct reduced iron plant, which halted production in August, an Ezz Steel official tells Kallanish. Production costs will consequently decrease as the steelmaker reduces scrap procurement.
