European steel chiefs seek climate/energy assurances ahead of EU summit
A group of 60 ceos representing Europe’s major steel producers have signed and sent an open letter to Europe’s heads of state and government. The letter, also addressed to the presidents of the European Parliament, the European Council and the European Commission, warns of the consequences of implementing the current draft climate and energy policy framework for 2030. It is sent ahead of the EU summit meeting on 23 – 24 October.
