Essar to expand Indonesia plant after strong ebitda growth
India’s Essar Steel says it is planning an expansion of its cold rolling subsidiary in Indonesia, PT Essar Indonesia. The investments come after the unit reported a solid 22% growth in ebitda in the financial year ending March 2015, Kallanish notes.
Essar has already raised $10 million through loans in order to expand cold rolling capacity at the plant from 200,000 tonnes/year to 225,000 t/y. Another $40m will be raised through more loans and…
