Emirates Steel slashes rebar by $35 to four-year low
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel (ESI) has slashed its rebar price for January deliveries to the domestic market by AED 127/tonne ($35/t) from the previous month to AED 1,985/t ($540/t) ex-works, market participants tell Kallanish. This represents the steelmaker’s lowest price for over four years.
