Emirates Steel retains rebar price for May as import interest fades
Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Steel (ESI) has maintained for May deliveries of rebar to the domestic market its previous month’s price of AED 1,760/tonne ($479/t) ex-works. Import interest has ceased after three vessels were booked last week from Turkey for arrival in May, market participants tell Kallanish.
