Emirates Steel completes capacity expansion
Abu Dhabi-based steelmaker Emirates Steel (ESI) has completed a project expanding its liquid steel production capacity by 25%, Kallanish learns from the company.
The government-owned steelmaker’s two industrial complexes, previously known as Expansion Phases 1 and 2, now each produce an additional 300,000 tonnes/year of liquid steel, taking overall capacity to 3.4 million t/y.
