Dunaferr resumes HR mill upgrade, revamps No 1 blast furnace
Hungary’s Dunaferr has resumed work to upgrade its hot rolling (HR) mill, and is revisiting plans to expand output. One element of this project, to install new Danieli motors at a cost of almost €10 million (HUF 3 billion) and to modernise the HR mill’s electric drive and its finishing line should be completed during the fourth quarter, Dunaferr says.
