Dearborn to take AK Steel's combined sales to 7.7mt
New owner, AK Steel in the US says it will use all the production units at Dearborn Works, and that it has no plans to cease operations at any of Dearborn’s current steelmaking or steel finishing facilities. Former parent, Russia’s Severstal notes it completed the sale of its US mills, Columbus and Dearborn on 16 September.
