Danieli details HBIS Energiron DRI project
Italian steel technology supplier Danieli says it will work with Tenova to build an Energiron direct reduced iron plant for Hebei Iron & Steel (HBIS). Energiron is an innovative DRI technology jointly developed by Tenova HYL and Danieli, Kallanish notes.
According to Danieli, the new Energiron DRI plant to be installed at HBIS facilities in Hebei province will produce 600,000 tonnes/year of quality DRI starting from the end of 2021.
