Czech coal miner trails 2015 sales targets after Q2 slump
Czech coal miner New World Resources (NWR) registered a -17% on-year decline in coking coal sales in the second quarter to 1.08 million tonnes. The average price of these sales was, however, up to €95/tonne from €84/t in Q2 2014. Overall production, which includes thermal coal, was down -19% on-year in Q2 to 1.83mt.
