Corruption crackdown hits Wugang
Sun Wendong, a deputy general manager at Wuhan Iron and Steel (Wugang) has been detained on suspicion of taking bribes, according to a statement by the company to the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Tuesday. Wugang is the latest to be hit by China’s corruption watchdogs after a Baosteel executive was announced to be under investigation last month, Kallanish notes.
