Contractor struggles to keep Atlas producing
Australian transport contractor McAleese is in talks with Atlas Iron and its bond holders in New York over continuing mining at Atlas’ assets, reports suggest. This news and the spike in iron ore futures prices last week has prompted suggestions that the miner could see production continue in order to pay off the company’s debts.
