Chinese steel prices pull out of dive

Chinese steel futures prices levelled out on Tuesday after more than a week of falls. Iron ore trading remained quiet but sentiment helped stop any further slide in futures prices, Kallanish notes. The May 2015 rebar contract lost Yuan 7/tonne over the day’s trading to close at Yuan 2,449/t ($392.17/t), almost level with Monday’s close.
