China manufacturing hit again in August
China’s manufacturing sector has seen another weak month in August, according to the preliminary reading of the Caixin China General Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI). The index fell to a 77-month low and weak manufacturing output means weak demand for steel, Kallanish notes.
