China cut both supply and demand in October
China saw crude steel output sink 3.3% in October, according to the latest National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data. However, NBS also announced a further slowdown in fixed asset investment (FAI) growth and in real estate sales, signalling continued dark days for steel demand, Kallanish notes.
