AM/NS Calvert gets $88 million boost to produce high-end autosheet
Nearly $87 million is being invested in the AM/NS Calvert mill in Alabama for the production of high-end automotive steel products.
Local media reports say $77m will be invested in new machinery and equipment - including a batch annealing facility, improvements to the continuous annealing and hot dip galvanizing lines. Some $24m will go to construction and engineering services, according to the reports.
