CIB lowers 2015 export targets, expects industry consolidations
The decline in steel exports in the first half of the year and weak near-term outlook have triggered a reduction in the Turkish Steel Exporters Association’s (CIB) 2015 export targets. Consolidations in the Turkish steel sector are inevitable, given the decline in capacity utilisation rates, CIB president Namik Ekinci tells Reuters.
